The Spiritual Counseling Network's co-pastor, Brandon Greeson says the group is cooperating with the Attorney General office's inquiry. Greeson says the Attorney General's office wants to see their paperwork on donors, donations, charity status and tax records. Greeson says all of the money raised in Baker's name will go to charity.
Meanwhile, the Attorney General office wants to hear from people who donated.
Call their Consumer Protection Hotline at 1-877-5-NO-SCAM.
I would also like to hear from people who have been harassed by them while they were going to and from the Catawba Valley Behavioral Health facility. It seems that Brandon Greeson and Tim Curtis HARASSED and INTIMIDATED employees and people in front of the facility using a bullhorn on numerous occasions, and I am fairly certain that the town of Hickory is not sad to see these sad sacks finally get their comeuppance.

And here they said on facebook that Lori Powell was a LIAR & they were NOT being investigated. Hum, seems to me a bunch of girls kicked their ass.
I would think if you donated to their "fund" under false pretenses, legally you have a right for your donation returned to you. I hope everyone asks for their money back. Let's see just how much they really got.

It really troubles me that Rev Curtis DD, is never the one speaking out in defense of his ministry. It's always Greeson who is presents to the media.
It is also bothersome that www.ZARHABAKER.com takes you directly to their website and yet, they (like Pontius Pilat) have allegedly "washed their hands" of this cause.
It is queer that the Refuge lists no Outreach programs ministering to the LGBTs (Lesbian/Gay/Bi-Sexual,Trans-Gender), considering Greeson identifies himself as a member of this community.
And Curtis - his Bio still states HE COMPLETED STUDIES at an unnamed, international school of ministry AND WAS thus, AWARDED a Doctor of Divinity. Greeson's Bio lists no educational credentials. Both Greeson and Curtis now list themselves as Co-Pastors. The "Director of . . . " has been dropped from both of their "job descriptions".
Their is no mention of the number or identities of the "Board of Elders", either.
Tabs within the Refuge site (or should I redirected www.ZAHRABAKER.com) divert to the old Spiritual Counseling Network (SCN) site.
And yet, when you access the SCN site directly - http://www.ncchristiancounselors.com/ - you return to the familiar "Pardon our Dust" header page. It does not redirect you to their "church" site. Zahra's (read money generating) yes - but their own SCN site NO. maybe that is because the "church" site has a tab labeled "GIVE".
There are still too many rudimentary questions that the boys need to answer. I have a feeling it ain't over yet. To all you Curtis and Greeson devotees - stand up for your belief and faith in these two. Force the issue to produce the TRUTH, so you may move forward in peace and progress. Yes . . . I'm talking to all four of you!

The body hasn't been released and it has been 3 months since he has been found..What is this money going towards?.. They used to post on Sylar's site on the amount they was bringing in but that has came to a halt!!..When people ask how much and where this money is being spent.. No answers and or people say it's no ones business.. I tend to disagree..

They posted their press release here first before giving it to the media because this is the blog that had found all their dirty little secrets of porn etc. The only time the media questioned them was in regards to Brandon Greeson's felony record.
They are pissed because we found their porn sites and saw Brandon's porn video he made at his home. Let me ask you Brandon, were your under school age children home when you made that video? Oh I know you posted on your porn site that it was a security camera that caught the person jerking off on your patio but like the people on the porn site commented, you can plainly see the person in the video was talking to the person who was video taping them in the house. Which is why you added music to it so no one would hear him. As I stated before, unless there is a band of roving little people in Hickory, security cameras are not normally set up to tape at crotch level. So again I ask, where were your children while you were making this porn video?
And where is the police report from this lone spanker? Surely he filed one! He threatens to sue and call police for everything else.

The above posts are my opinion based on everything I have seen and read by both Brandon Greeson and Timothy Curtis. It is my right to comment on the internet about things they have posted publicly on the internet. Don't want people to comment about your public internet activities, then I suggest staying off the internet. You can threaten to sue all you want but because you decided to ask people to send you donations, people had every right to look into who and what they were really donating to.
With all this being known, I don't think the boy will be asking for donations any time soon.
Sure they will Brenda. They have a donate button on their Refuge site where the Zahra Baker Fund website now redirects you to. They just switched it from donating to the fund to donating to the "church". Then of course they still charge 30 - 40 dollars for "counseling" from unlicensed counselors. They don't take insurance or medicaid they just want non traceable cash.

I think it speaks volumes about the ethics of these two men that they did not remove their association with the websites in question until they were 'caught'. It is just amazing that they continue to preach the same old song and dance and play the role of victim. I find it wrong that Zahra's picture is now on their 'church' website. Why is it there? Who gave permission for it to be there? After all that has been disclosed about these men...why would they even think it appropriate to put a child's picture on anything they are associated with? I also highly doubt the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children would appreciate being mentioned on a website administered by these two. If anyone ever exploited a missing child, these guys did so in my opinion. I have always thought they used Zahra's situation as a way to promote themselves and whatever 'business' they claimed to be in. Fraud may have never been their intention but I believe self-promotion definitely was.
I would like to share the phone numbers for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for anyone that would like to call regarding the exploitation of Zahra by these two men. The website zahrabaker.com still exists but as we know, now takes you to the so-called church. Why do these people still own the zahrabaker.com name? Also, their site asks people to donate to the NCMEC. Considering the history of these two, I doubt very seriously that the NCMEC would want their name used by such individuals. Why are they using Zahra's picture on their site? My opinion is that all of this is exploitation of the Zahra tragedy.

They attempt to use the names of respected individuals or businesses to make themselves appear to have been vetted by them. I will be calling the NCMEC today to report them again. They obviously made a lot of money using Zahra's name or they wouldn't be hellbent on continuing to try to do so. They are SICKENING excuses for trash that call themselves Christians. My preacher grandfather is spinning in his grave.
Sandi, I am glad you are calling. I called this morning and was transferred to the legal dept. at NCMEC. I left a detailed message and my phone number. I hope a lot of people call as these guys are not likely to stop their despicable behavior until something legal is done to them. They just don't seem to 'get it'! I am happy to pursue anything I can do to help with this. If anyone has any ideas, please share.

Duckie, You are absolutely right....I too believe they read here. They need to read 'between the lines' that they are still exploiting a missing child by having the zahrabaker.com website name and using her picture on their 'new' site.
Instead of 'going after' those who have exposed what they were/are doing, they need to clean up their act, tell the truth and remove Zahra's name for any and all of their websites and communication. If they think by using the NCMEC name on their site they are gathering credibility, they are very very wrong. Thanks go to all on this blog that worked so hard to expose this disgusting situation. I guess the old saying 'Be Careful What You Ask For' applies really well to these two and by continuing to use Zahra's name and image, they seem to be begging for more negative attention.

Unless they have permission from Zahra's family, using her name and likeness is considered copyright infringement. Guess contact with Zahra's family is in order to see if they know that their child's name and picture are being used by these pigs. A little background on them to the family won't hurt either. Since they scream lawsuits all the time, you would think they would of known that they needed permission to use her name and picture.

I remember they made a statement on camera & in print that none of the money would go to the family. Bio mom is family. Not that I have an issue with it going to her, but, that is not what they said the "fund" was for. It is said bio mom was brought to NC by the news media in her home country & they are with her. I suggest the nasty ones stay far away from her. If they dare show up at the vigil for Zahra with their purple tent ...well, I don't imagine they would be very welcome.

Suggestion to Timmy and Brandon: Do it privately and offer a simple statement when asked by the press what transpired. Something to effect of "We share the grief . . ." "It is of little comfort . . ." "This is not about our efforts but the life of one of God's little angels. . ." "It was a private matter and I pray that ..."
Keep it simple. No more than two sentences. Incorporate a short piece of scripture mentioning children.
Then stop. Nothing more. Resist your urge to be center stage.
There will be time for that later.
